Hemp has a massive potential to produce sustainable resources, but what about Marijuana? Through legalization, regulation and medical and recreational marijuana taxes, a significant amount of money can be pumped into the legal economy. It is an example of economic growth that can currently be seen in the state of Colorado, where the sale and recreational use of marijuana should be legalized. Creates work in abundance, from positions directly involved in its production and sale to administration, supply, manual labor, and even transportation throughout the state.
Marijuana grows by leaps and bounds
Recently, the Department of Revenue figures published Nevada marijuana sales in July, when it became legal on recreational Marijuana in the state. According to the statistics compiled by Marijuana Business Daily, the business is skyrocketing:
Sales of marijuana in Nevada, in essence, doubled compared to those of other states, reaching the figure of US $ 27 million in sales. It must be taken into account that this figure materialized despite the severe scarcity problems faced by the state due to difficulties with distribution rules.
And these numbers probably underestimate the long-term marijuana market that exists there.
Even more revealing is the fact that Nevada achieved spectacular sales in its first month of legality with only 53 stores selling recreational marijuana.
This is less than any other state, except Washington.
According to the owner of a “green” shop interviewed by Marijuana Business Daily, sellers are enjoying growth between the 2% and 5% per month. That is an impressive annual growth – and a good omen for any Nevadan company.
Now, because marijuana is still illegal at the federal level, it cannot be transported from one state to another. That means that authorized farming operations within the country are the only ones that can be sold within their respective jurisdictions. That’s why the growing Nevada market is so promising for the companies that operate there.
These are exciting times for the Marijuana industry. As I have said many times: we have a front row seat to witness all the action – and the open the door to become part of all the profits that are offered there.
While all that is going on, I tell you that in a few days I will be traveling to Las Vegas to meet with the companies that are exposed to this market, and inquire about many more details.
